Year of The Sea weekend 7-9 September 2018

Join us for an exciting weekend of carefully selected coastal adventures and food in spectacular North Pembrokeshire to celebrate Welsh Year of The Sea. At this time of year the sea is at its warmest, the summer crowds have gone, there are big spring tides and the seals are pupping; it doesn’t get better than this!

  • Half day Coasteering with TYF Adventure St David’s, the pioneers of this epic sport – “We call it pure ocean play – Coasteering with TYF is a mischievous combination that’ll see you walk, scramble, climb, swim and cliff jump your way around the best of Pembrokeshire’s rocky coastline”. www.tyf.com

  • Friday evening welcome meal
  • Buffet breakfast and evening sea themed feast on Saturday to be held in our campers’ barn (veggie/vegan options)

Timetable

Friday 7th

Arrive from noon onwards. Time to explore the campsite, nature trail & local woods

Evening meal of Pembrokeshire baked spuds with chilli around the campfire with bar selling reasonably priced local ale and cider

Saturday 8th

9am buffet style breakfast in the Campers’ barn

10.30am head to St Davids

11am Seashore Foraging walk followed by lunch in St Davids (buy your own from  choice of cafes/deli/supermarket)

2pm Coasteering followed by hot chocolate

6pm head back Into The Sticks

7.30pm Sea themed feast in the campers’ barn with bar selling local ale and cider

Sunday 9th

9.30am full Welsh Breakfast

11am Coastal wildlife walk with picnic lunch and chance for a wild swim in the sea
